Hence, the three heads. Vinterberg did veer away briefly in the early part of the film on another element--the use of exegetic music.But he was true to Dogme principles on most other counts in this film. The only negative for this film (and for "The Great Beauty" as well) was the unfortunate dark streak of the subject and the depressing ending, even though it forced the viewer to contemplate on what the movie had offered.
